  Sustainable Christmas Trees: The Best Way to Celebrate the Season Christmas trees are a time-honored tradition for many people around the world. But did you know that the traditional Christmas tree has a large carbon footprint? But fortunately there is a more environmentally friendly alternative:  Sustainable natural Christmas trees  from Green Team Producing a Christmas tree "costs" 10 kilograms of carbon dioxide, the equivalent of two steaks.
